Sponsor a Rainbow Cottage

For the past 5 years we have been successfully running our sponsor a Rainbow Rabbit scheme. In fact this has become the main source of income for our Retirement Home. So it is with deep regret that we have decided to end our rabbit sponsorships. It is something we have been thinking about for many months so not a decision we have taken lightly. As many of our rabbits are terminally ill they are only with us for a few months. When a sponsor rabbit passed to Rainbow Bridge we increasingly found that contacting the rabbit’s sponsors to give them the sad news was significantly adding to our own stress and upset. It became even worse when we knew the sponsor was a young child, was for a special occasion or taken out in memory of another bridge bunny. We felt continuing with the scheme was neither fair on us or the lovely, generous people who sponsored our special rabbits.

Instead we have decided to set up a Sponsor a Rainbow Cottage scheme. This runs in exactly the same way except people can sponsor the rabbit accommodation instead of an individual rabbit. As you can imagine even when a rabbit sadly passes to the bridge, our accommodation never stays empty for long! The prices remain the same and the packages include the same items.

We know that are supporters may still want to support specific Rainbow Rabbits, so for that we have set up a simple donation scheme. Please see below.

As our bunnies are either elderly or have special needs many of them need regular veterinary treatment. As we do not rehome any rabbits the only way we get any financial help is through one off donations or through our sponsorship scheme.

Please help us to care for our rainbow rabbits by sponsoring one of our cottages. All money made through the sponsorship scheme will go directly towards veterinary bills.

You will receive the deluxe sponsor pack, plus an A4 photo and a Rainbow Rabbits Keyring

Help a Rainbow Rabbit

For a minimum of £10 we will send out a copy of Bunny Sagas, a thank you letter and photo of your chosen rabbit. However there will be no follow up info or cards sent out. If the donation is made as a gift for a special occasion we will be happy to add a card or message with magazine, letter and photo.
